The Eravikulam National Park at Munnar, which contains Rajamala Wildlife Sanctuary, remains open only from April to January and remains closed during February and March.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Wednesday, 18 February 2026 – Cochin | Kochi | Ernakulam

Arrival at Cochin – Stay at Cochin

Upon arrival at the Gateway of Kerala – Cochin (Cochin International Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station), you will be welcomed by our representative/driver.

Check in to the hotel/resort.

Later, visit:

• Dutch Palace
• Jewish Synagogue
• St. Francis Church (the oldest European church in India)
• Santa Cruz Basilica

You can also explore local markets for antiques, fabrics, and jewellery.

In the evening, visit Marine Drive and return to the hotel.

Overnight stay at Cochin.

Day 2: Thursday, 19 February 2026 – Munnar

Cochin – Munnar

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Munnar.

En route, visit:

• Cheeyappara Waterfalls
• Valara Waterfalls

Enjoy the scenic tea plantations spread across the hills. The breathtaking landscapes and clouds descending through the mountains make the journey mesmerizing.

Check in to the hotel/resort.

Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3: Friday, 20 February 2026 – Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for Munnar sightseeing.

Visit:

• Mattupetty Dam
• Kundala Dam
• Echo Point
• Tea Museum

Post lunch, visit Eravikulam National Park.

Later, return to the hotel/resort.

Day 4: Saturday, 21 February 2026 – Thekkady

Munnar – Thekkady

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Thekkady.

Check in to the hotel/resort.

Thekkady, India’s largest wildlife sanctuary, is a dream destination for nature lovers.

Activities include:

• Spice plantation tour (tea, coffee, pepper, and cardamom plantations)
• Boating at Periyar Lake through the Periyar Tiger Reserve

You may get a chance to spot wildlife such as elephants, bison, sambar deer, and other animals.

In the evening, visit the local spice market.

Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 5: Sunday, 22 February 2026 – Alappuzha | Alleppey

Thekkady – Alleppey

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Alappuzha, also known as the “Venice of the East.”

Alleppey is famous for:

• Backwaters
• Houseboats
• Boat races
• Beaches
• Coir products

Check in to the hotel/houseboat.

Guests staying in hotels may opt for a Shikara boat ride (at own cost) to enjoy the backwaters.

Later, transfer to the hotel/houseboat.

Overnight stay at Alleppey.

Day 6: Monday, 23 February 2026 – Departure from Cochin

After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Alleppey.

Depending on your flight/train timing, enjoy some last-minute shopping.

You will be transferred to Cochin International Airport / Ernakulam Railway Station for your onward journey.
