Arrive at Colombo Airport (BIA). Warm welcome by chauffeur guide. Drive to Kandy. On the way, visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to see baby elephants bathing. Visit Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Morning excursion to Sigiriya Rock Fortress (Lion Rock), an ancient palace built atop a 200m rock outcrop. Visit Spice Garden in Matale. Evening cultural dance performance in Kandy. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Board the famous scenic blue train from Kandy through tea plantations & waterfalls to Nuwara Eliya ("Little England"). Visit Tea Factory & Damro Tea estate. Walk around Gregory Lake. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
Drive from hill country down to Bentota beach town. Check in at beach resort. Enjoy Madu River mangrove boat safari and visit Turtle Hatchery at Kosgoda. Evening beach relax. Overnight stay in Bentota.
Morning water sports in Bentota river (Jet ski, banana boat ride). Afternoon drive to capital city Colombo. Guided city tour: Independence Square, Gangaramaya Temple, Pettah Bazaar, and Galle Face Green promenade. Overnight stay in Colombo.
