Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh (11,500 ft). Transfer to hotel. Rest for the entire day to acclimate to high altitude. Evening walk to Leh Main Bazaar and Shanti Stupa. Overnight stay in Leh.
Full-day excursion along the Indus River. Visit Hall of Fame War Memorial, Magnetic Hill, Confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers (Sangam), and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Evening visit to Leh Palace. Overnight stay in Leh.
Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (one of the highest motorable roads in the world at 17,582 ft). Arrive at Hunder in Nubra Valley. Enjoy double-humped Bactrian camel rides across white sand dunes. Overnight stay in Hunder camps/resort.
Morning visit to Diskit Monastery with its majestic 106 ft Maitreya Buddha statue. Drive to Pangong Tso Lake via Shayok River route. Arrive at the stunning high-altitude Pangong Tso Lake (13,940 ft). Enjoy sunset views over changing turquoise water colors. Overnight stay in luxury camps at Pangong.
Wake up to a breathtaking sunrise over Pangong Tso. Drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass (17,590 ft). En route, visit Hemis Monastery and Thiksey Monastery. Evening free for souvenir shopping in Leh market. Overnight stay in Leh.
Check out from hotel after early breakfast. Transfer to Leh Airport for your departure flight back home.
