Detailed Itinerary
Arrive in Sankri base village (6,400 ft) from Dehradun. Check in at guesthouse. Equipment check & trek orientation briefing. Overnight stay in Sankri.
Trek 4 km from Sankri to Juda Ka Talab (9,100 ft). Hike through dense pine and maple tree glades. Arrive at the iconic lake which freezes during winter. Overnight stay in tents.
Trek 4 km from Juda Ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base Camp (11,250 ft). Enjoy panoramic views of Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini, and Kalanag peaks. Early dinner & rest. Overnight stay in tents.
Summit Day: Wake up at 3:00 AM. Start steep snow climb to Kedarkantha Summit (12,500 ft). Watch a breathtaking 360-degree sunrise over Himalayan ranges. Descend via Hargaon campsite back to Sankri. Overnight stay in Sankri.
Check out from Sankri after breakfast. Depart for Dehradun carrying your summit certificate and proud trek memories.
